Feeling Lost As To Your Purpose? Search For Those Few, Special People Who Truly Love To Teach What They Know

The Daedalus Dilemma

If you teach all you know to another person, they might become better at it than you and take away your livelihood.

If you teach someone else well, you may teach them too well and find yourself left in the dust, as they surge to prosperity and you are discarded as yesteryear's model.

The Special Few Who Love What They Do And Love To Share

I think that there are only a few of these people in the world, and it takes a great deal of searching to find them, but, I believe there are people in the world who truly love what they do, and part of their feelings of love are expressed in a truly powerful desire to share their knowledge with others.

The "Real" Working World : The Rat Race

For the majority of people,
"the mass of men leading lives of quiet desperation",
the working world is one of competition,
everyone trying to get a piece of the pie,
everyone terrified of being abandoned and left behind,
teaching someone else is literally "taking food out of your own mouth".

Teaching someone else,
really trying to make another person better,
is something that simply feels like a waste of time.
Where is the profit in it?
How is it helping you?

Again, The Special Few

But...there are a few special people in the world who just don't see things this way.

They have connected with life through their art.
What they do truly fulfills them and they want to share that feeling with others.
